What we collect

Account: your email address and a hashed (not readable) password.
Your journal: everything you enter, such as trades, accounts, notes, tags and screenshots you upload.
Billing: your plan and subscription status. Card details are entered on Stripe's page and are never seen or stored by us.
Technical: login cookies, and short-lived records of failed logins and sign-ups (including IP address) used to block abuse.

How we use it

To run your journal, keep you logged in, take payment, protect the service from abuse, and answer your support emails. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not read your journal.

Who handles it

We use these providers to run the service: Cloudflare (hosting, database and file storage), Stripe (payments), and an email provider when password reset emails are sent. They process data only to provide their service to us.

Cookies

Monk Mode uses one cookie to keep you logged in. It does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping and deleting

We keep your data while your account exists. Delete your account under Account to remove your journal, screenshots and login. Billing records may be kept by Stripe and by us as long as the law requires. Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule.

Your rights

You can export all your data from the app, correct it by editing your journal, and delete it by deleting your account. To ask anything else about your data, email support@monkmodejournal.app.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above changes with it.
