1. What Monk Mode is

Monk Mode is a trading journal. You log your trades, notes and screenshots, and it shows you statistics and tools such as the Account Planner. It does not place trades, connect to your broker or hold your money.

2. Not financial advice

Monk Mode is a record-keeping and analysis tool. Nothing in it, including statistics, simulations, projections and the Account Planner, is financial, investment or trading advice, or a promise of any result. Trading futures and other leveraged products involves a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Past results do not predict future results. Any decision to trade is yours alone, and you are responsible for your own trades and losses.

3. Your account

You must give a real email address and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use Monk Mode.

4. Plans and payment

Monthly and annual plans renew automatically until you cancel. A new monthly or annual subscription may start with a free trial; your card is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then. The lifetime plan is a single payment for access to Monk Mode for as long as the service is offered. Payments are handled by Stripe. You can cancel, update your card and see invoices under Account, Manage billing. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Prices may change. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

6. Your data

Your journal belongs to you. You can export everything at any time from the app, and you can delete your account under Account, which removes your journal, screenshots and login. See the Privacy Policy for how data is handled. Please keep your own backup copy (the export) of anything important.

7. Acceptable use

Do not try to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, access other people's data, share your login, or resell access.

8. Availability

We work to keep Monk Mode running and your data safe, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. It may be interrupted, changed or discontinued. If we ever shut the service down permanently, we will give notice so you can export your data.

9. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, lost data or any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of Monk Mode. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it.

10. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use Monk Mode means you accept it. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. You can stop using Monk Mode at any time.
